I don’t know anyone who’s ‘in to’ film & tv music, so I’m so happy I’ve found a podcast! Even more happy Edith’s presenting (what a lovely person) and very impressed with the execution - well done, please never stop!

I listen several podcasts about music, sound and sound design in films

The name of the podcast should be changed to: Glazing with Edith Bowman. Cuz omg. The stroking of egos is off the charts. Besides that, it’s cool to hear film composers talk of their works.

I recently discovered this podcast and really enjoy it. I find Edith really knowledgable but also humble, she allows the people she is interviewing time to talk and they seem to really open up. It’s not a subject I knew much about when I started listening and had not really thought much about the...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to the show for a few years and I just love the mix of different guest on the show from directors to actors and of course composers. Most episodes always reveal what the guest grew up on or what score they fell in love with.

Haven’t missed a beat in the 286 episodes - the only podcast I’ve stuck with from the dozens I’ve started down through the years. A must for cinephiles. A must for general movie lovers. A must if you enjoy anything to do with movies and music. And it’s Edi Bowman, whose love of her subject...Read full review »

This podcast has fast become one of my absolute favourites and go-tos! It’s the only film score podcast I listen to and I’m a HUGE film music nerd! Stunning work by Edith. The only, only reason there is a star missing is I feel the use of musical excerpts are a bit heavy handed - they are very...Read full review »

In my later teens early twenties started to be more and more interested in the score in films because the pictures and sound goes together, and can make you feel the sence and feel of a film. So when I saw on twitter, back in 2016, one mention Soundtracking so I had to give it a listen... and...Read full review »

Brilliant podcast, fun and informative. Edith has a lovely way of engaging without being intimidated by the musicians. I would love to hear Max Richter on the music for the HBO series “My Brilliant Friend”.

Although at times it can seem overly gushing, Edith provides engaing and entertaining interviews. Being able to hear tracks discussed helps provide extra texture. Large variety of guests and music discussed.

This show is such a lovely behind-the-scenes look at film scores via a very relaxed and natural chat with the composers themselves. Thoroughly enjoyed. The Isobel Waller-Bridge episode was an absolute tonic. 👌🏼

Really entertaining podcast that has now made me much more aware of the important part that music plays in each scene that it appears. Edith Bowman has a relaxed and warn way of chatting with the guests that it seems more like a chat than an interview
