Just brilliant
While centered on the music with movies, you get an exploration of how movies are made, the musical background and inspirations of directors, and opinions on the divisive issue of temp scores or not. I found this podcast at episode six and have discovered so much music beyond the scores, Sigur Ros is just one. This podcast is a treasure.

More reviews of Soundtracking with Edith Bowman
Edith is the very best there is at what she does, which is having respectful and enlightening conversations on the power of music in film with a wondrous variety of composers and filmmakers. Steady on Edith, I for one am looking forward to another 50 years of content!

I find Edith’s genuine interest and enthusiasm radiates throughout her discussions with her guests. She clearly loves soundtracks and this invites her guests to be open and unguarded as they talk about their work. Highly recommended.

Soundtrack lovers are not alone! I love Edith’s knowledge and enthusiasm about film music, and it comes across in spades as she laps up anecdotes from interesting people in the OST business.
