Brilliant, Informative & Entertaining
Big fan of Soundtracking and have been since episode one. No one was concentrating on the soundscape and musicality of movies before Edith’s podcast. Now typically there are inferior copies out there. Don’t be fooled. My favourite episodes are those where an enthusiastic director shares, not only the story of their relationship with music, but provides insight on the whole process. From working with temp score, through choosing a composer to the collaborative experience of creating a score. Start at the beginning with Ben Wheatley and enjoy the evolution of Soundtracking through Edith’s massively entertaining interviews with Edgar Wright, Duncan Jones and many, many directors and composers up to the most recent edition I listened to, Barry Jenkins. The most informative and entertaining podcast about the art of film composition. Don’t miss it!

I didn't realise Edith had a podcast until I heard her chatting with Dawn O'Porter and have been hooked ever since! You won't watch a film in the same way again!Read full review »

I really enjoy hearing people talking about movies and music. This fits the bill and more. It makes me want to rewatch and listen to the films Bowman and her guests get into. Now listening to the eclectic mix on Spotify. Wonderful!
