Weird recent anti-woman slant?
I enjoyed this podcast for quite awhile. Erica has a lovely voice and her storytelling cadence works, even though the episodes are fully scripted. I have been baffled for the past…year, maybe? by what I have noticed is a father’s rights/anti-woman bent in the storytelling. I hesitated for months to write this review but episode after episode I’m finding myself questioning motives and the narrative arcs. Of course, these are stories of real people and I’m not sure the women in particular are being served by the gradually revealed bias.

Not sure if the host was swayed by the murderer’s sob story about having PTSD or what, but she clearly favored the murderer in the episode about Addie. She barely spoke about Addie except to say that she “pulled the trigger” in her own murder. No. That would be the murderer. I’m pretty disgusted...Read full review »
