Fun little podcast about space subjects. Gets into technical details but not to the point where it’s difficult to understand.

Finally a way to hear more Everyday Astronaut without the insanely good production quality and months between videos. I love the YouTube videos but this is a great way to get info between them.

How Tim has not been approached by the discovery channel for his own show yet I don’t know. Why wasn’t Tim around when i was learning science at school, he makes science so much more interesting.

Questions: 1. Second Stage… What happens to it? Does it burn up or is it space junk? 2. What happens to all that human space stuff we put up there? Does some of it fall back, burn up or what? What are the dangers and what does the future look like with all that material, especially if there...Read full review »

I have been following Tim on YouTube for a few years now and this is a great new format for his blend of information, opinion and raw enthusiasm. Great to listen to whilst preparing a meal or driving. Perhaps a topic for a future chat would be how you see early Moon missions panning out:...Read full review »

I love Tim Dodd. He is a reliable source of news and information about the space industry. I found the background noise in his second podcast to be distracting. It might be wise for him to record future episodes in a more professional studio.

Great! Well done! In awe of what you do! Here is a question. Why bother using heat shield tiles? How hot does the stainless steel get?Assuming it’s the compressed gas in-front of it glowing red and not the steel. Has anyone ever tried just painting it or covering it with asbestos cloth? Rapid...Read full review »

I love Tim’s videos and I really liked Our Ludacris Future. Admittedly I only liked listening to the Spaceflight related snippets, so having a podcast like this is very helpful for me working in the Aerospace industry. Weekly talks about Spaceflight activities needs to be more mainstream! Keep it...Read full review »

I’m a big fan of Tim Dodd and am really excited to see this podcast mature, especially after watching the first episode. If you’re some how seeing this Tim, I have a question about engine efficiency, could you explain how you find out the isp of an engine, why it’s measured in seconds and some...Read full review »

Tim Dodd does an amazing job answering questions from ordinary people about space flight. He’s a wonderful teacher and you can learn a lot just by listening.

It‘s from Tim, the Everyday Astronaut, do I have to say anything more?

Tim is the real deal ! He knows rockets inside & out. I dare say as much as NASA ! Good luck and all the best to the everyday astronaut.

A great fun show from The EDA can’t wait for the rest of them

First episode in and it’s clear what the intended format is, I love it. As always, clear and concise explanations from Tim and it feels like just chatting about current spaceflight events on a casual walk. Nailed it. Can’t wait for future episodes.

I have learned to respect what he says. Heck, even Elon Musk pays attention to his comments. I would love to see a podcast on a nuclear engine concept for starship and also curious if the military really is interested and funding starship.

I love this format! Tim always does a great job answering questions and generally talking about interesting stuff and sharing his perspective during the launch livestream, and this is like a distilled version of that. I’ve been hoping for a podcast from Tim for a while, and I’m so glad that it’s finally here! Hope IFT 4 goes well, and can’t wait for more episodes!

this podcast feels way more relaxed and focused than Tim’s live streams. But bringing in questions from the community brilliantly connects the qualities of a lifestream on YouTube with the qualities of a good podcast.
