“I am probably an advanced beginner in Spanish. I lived in a Spanish country for a month about a year ago and took Spanish in highschool. As an Emergency room physician I can speak some "Spanglish" about medical problems, but otherwise my general Spanish is weak. This is perfect for me. They are speaking slowly and clearly about something about which I am already familiar. It reminds me of being in a Spanish speaking country and picking up language by listening. I listen in the car. The first listen I understand only some, but by the second time I listen to the news I am understanding most of it and learning new words from their context. This is by far the best intermediate Spanish podcast I have found. I listen to the weekly podcast twice every week.”Read full review »

“I have noticed how significantly they have shrunk every episode, from 8-10 mins to now 3-4. It’s really disappointing and I don’t want to listen anymore just to hear the theme music for most of each episode!”
