“I've been a Spider-man fan my whole life, but have not been able to read the comics for the last couple of years since starting law school. I've listened to every one of the podcast episodes and will continue to do so until Brad stops putting them out. I appreciate the different perspectives, from the "older" JR to the younger ones who are my age. I understand some of the negative comments who dislike that the podcast always seems negative. It's fair to say that this podcast is not generally happy with the current state of the Spider-books- but I'm not either, so it doesn't bother me. However, none of the gang will give a negative comment without backing it up. There is always a "why" behind their bad reviews, so I think that criticism of those reviews is unwarranted. Personally, I tend to agree with nearly everything they come to a consensus on. In all, it's a great podcast-the only one I follow consistently. I love each members' contributions and have almost universally liked the guest interviews. Since I can't read the comics anymore, this is a great way to keep up with Peter and the rest of the Spider-universe!”Read full review »
