Lacks focus but has potential
I really wanted to like this podcast and subscribed following a recommendation by a Classics-loving YouTuber. I liked the variety of myths covered, but found it frustrating to try and follow the often rambling conversations. It almost feels as if they haven't actually written down what they're going to talk about in any kind of order. Also, the gaps in some of the tales sometimes left out quite important information. I think this series might be better for listeners who are less familiar with mythology and want an accessible introduction.Read full review »

Stories are the best way to really get to understand another culture. And while Spirits is on the whole a podcast made to entertain, it also provides a great gateway into learning about other culture's myths.Read full review »
