Welcome again !! Lets start Kailas parikrama. Its almost 40 km trek. We start from Darchen via bus upto Yam Dwar and parikrama starts from here. From south to west and then we stay beside Kailas north face. We cross Dolma at night and then stay  at Kugu the next day. We again reachen Darchen and then depart to Mansarovar. Om Namah Shivay... Welcome to Kailas trek again. We reached Lipulekh pass in the morning on previous episode and now we descend to Tibetan plateau. Purang is a 02 days stop, and on the auspicious day of Monday falls Somvati Amavasya and we get darshan of Kailas and bath in the holy waters of Mansarovar. We report for medicals at ITBP Gunji, all yatris are cleared, but most are advised to hire pony and porters. The very next day we start for Navidhang via Kalapani, the origin of river Kali. Here are temples of Mata Kali, lord Hanuman and are maintained by ITBP. The camp at Navidhang is adjacent to Om Parvat. You can also trek to Adi Kailas from Gunji. Om Namah Shivay ... I welcome you all on Kailas yatra again. Today we start our trek from Tawaghat near Dharchula to Sirkha. Sirkha is a mesmerizing campsite, and from here, we move to Gala, Budhi and Gunji, on a four days trek. The route is beautiful, though a bit difficult at times with lots of ups and downs. Today is Aug.15 and we leave for Kailas, So a big Volvo bus is arranged, and with the chants of Har-Har Mahadev, Bus starts. Stopping at various points we reach Kathgodam, and then via two buses, the climb to hill starts. We reach Almora via Kainchi Dham, and stay there.
