More than anything, this podcast highlights the fact that Butina sidled up to morally bankrupt American males who could further her cause. If that cause was to advance US-Russia relations as she claimed or as a Russian agent advancing Russian interests as the US government claims, the fact remains that she aligned herself with a conspiracy theorist and a con-man among other morally questionable characters.
