“I've tried a few Bible podcasts, though most are not Catholic podcasts. Usually I could not download in advance and I often don't have time to download each morning. Then the readings would take about 20 minutes to listen to. I'm a wife and mother of two young children with special needs, so this never worked out for me. This podcast is excellent. In about five minutes, I can listen to the readings for the day - downloaded in advance - and have my brief quiet time with the Lord in the midst of taking care of my family's needs each morning. We have a very active family life, so having the readings available to me in a clear, concise format is a huge blessing. I strongly recommend this podcast for Catholic moms wanting to have daily devotions but without a lot of time to spend due to being 'on call' with their families or simply having busy days and nights. Especially for at-home moms like me, this podcast is a "keeper". I also strongly recommend the Rosary Army Catholic podcast (part of the SQPN network of Catholic podcasts) - Greg and Jennifer are wonderful, and I can really relate to Jennifer's perspectives as a Catholic wife and mother.”Read full review »
