Music and Science
Two things: First, DON’T lose the comic! Chuck is intelligent, well read, brings a perspective, and adds humor. Second, in the episode Unlocking Gene Therapy with Gaurav Shah there was a discussion about music and science. To add to that discussion, the marching band at the University of Michigan is made up mostly of engineering students with very few music majors. I suspect this is true with many college / university marching bands. Third, even though I said “two things”, I love Star Talk. And have for a long time, starting back when it was a TV program. Thank you (and Chuck) for the program.

More reviews of StarTalk Radio
This podcast has improved greatly over the past year or so. Much more scientific content but still fun. The earlier reviews criticizing the lack of content in the earlier episodes have a point but don't apply to the podcast in its present form. Give it a try!Read full review »

The only thought provoked is the one to pull the power, post haste. It's just a repackaged, poorly produced pop radio show. Listen yourself, and keep your hand on the switch.Read full review »
