“I have greatly enjoyed listening to this podcast over the past couple of years. During this time, I have been in nursing school, and have recently started my first nursing job. I don’t know about the rest of the listeners, but hearing stories about medical conditions and treatments really helps to cement what I learned in school. It also helps me gain knowledge about new health-related topics not covered in the textbooks, and raises new questions for research. Thanks, Karen, for sharing your experiences as an ER nurse in this podcast. “Karen is an amazing story teller. You can tell by listening that she was/is a very compassionate and professional nurse. Being sick is no fun but Karen would make it worth it if a person was lucky enough to be under her care. Her podcast just keeps getting better.”
