“I caught the recent episode with so-called Sir Dan of C. An hour and a half of superficial banter between three thirty-something white men, finding lots to laugh about while discussing covid 19 and a year in which 120,000 people have died of the illness in this country alone. Their starting point is that covid is a conspiracy, the only solution is simply to get on with life as though nothing were wrong, and if there are a few deaths, that's just an unfortunate piece of collateral damage necessary to allow these silly young men to enjoy pints in the pub and their sense of freedom. Cue a little more laughter.
