They clearly don't know what they don't know
I caught the recent episode with so-called Sir Dan of C. An hour and a half of superficial banter between three thirty-something white men, finding lots to laugh about while discussing covid 19 and a year in which 120,000 people have died of the illness in this country alone. Their starting point is that covid is a conspiracy, the only solution is simply to get on with life as though nothing were wrong, and if there are a few deaths, that's just an unfortunate piece of collateral damage necessary to allow these silly young men to enjoy pints in the pub and their sense of freedom. Cue a little more laughter. Really, these podcasters want me to believe they have anything interesting to say about the state of the markets, after this ill-judged foray into a world they show zero - and I mean zero - understanding of? I don't know which is more damning, their ignorance or their ignorance of their ignorance.Read full review »
