People for thousands of years have witnessed individuals and groups come to power, and more importantly,  how that power has been managed (or mismanaged). Sometimes bigger is not always better. Sometimes, stopping while ahead and being happy with what is currently available is the most meaningful. If every container has a limit to how much can be carried, should the power that people possess be any different? The expression "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" comes from the U.S.'s Declaration of Independence, NOT the U.S. Constitution.  Also, when referencing the U.S. Constitution, the main idea I wanted to get across was that the Americans who wrote the Constitution made a system that was designed to avoid corruption and tyrants with Checks and Balances between the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches. They tried to create a government where there is limited central power, which in turn would make the rise of dictators be much more difficult (at least in theory). That was what I thought was brilliant about it. It is not perfect though and I highly encourage reading it for yourself, if not just for some interesting history lessons.
