Good quality sci-fi. I wish they kept available all their previous series. But hey ho, good stuff. And I often buy the follow on book or audio so it’s working. Except some not published in UK.

The audio books that this series presents are just gradually getting worse and worse. I read one review of this audio book describing it as a "YA novel", which seems apt. This is a silly story I don't care about, involving shallow characters I care even less about. I gave up because I...Read full review »

I came on for the original book, but now we’re a couple in and I’m definitely loving them all. The current one, Legends And Lattes is fun. Not something I would have sought out, but whomever is running this ’cast has great taste !

Season 5 is amazing! This would make an amazing tv series. I have really enjoyed it. Narration is top notch. A must listen too if you love Sci-fi. Thanks for sharing!

No better word to describe this reading. I couldn’t wait to hear the next episode and very sad to hear the end. Like Kira it would be good to sail through the stars as her quest continues. Loved it! Gordon

I love the books (so far) they’ve chosen to present. Only nit to pick is wish I just pay a subscription and get the whole book instead of trying to find/buy the book.

Well narrated, great story

Season five took off like a rocket ship… Story gets lost a little bit because there’s no episode 2

Where is this episode?

Did not expect Dak to tongue punch the alien

The nonsensical and poorly acted Thirst gets in the way of what could have been a believable and enjoyable sci-fi story.

Thank you so much for the new stories. The latest 21 parter by Arkade Martine was hugely enjoyable and what an astonishingly good choice of narrator; never grating and I always knew which character was speaking without the different voices sounding forced. A real talent! I really enjoyed the...Read full review »

I came here for Steal the Stars (now season 1), which I did not find as outstanding as all the praise for it made me expect. Still an interesting story with the romance playing a curious part in the plot. Now I follow the next seasons, hoping for a bit more consistency in the quality.

Season One was a fully fleshed out Audio Drama with a cast and sound effects. The newest season is basically if Siri read you a science fiction novel but with less emotion.
TheRevLark via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/01/21
Inlevelsefullt och spännande, Stealing the stars är ett spännande drama som imponerar. Sci-fi med betoning på fi snarare än sci men ändå riktigt bra skådespel och radioteater.
David Igra via Apple Podcasts · Sweden · 10/09/21
The first season (steal the stars) was really fascinating, but the format change from audio drama to audiobook is a bit perplexing, and leaves me wanting more voices, more depth than just the words.
Onesassytart via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 08/16/21
I did not enjoy season 1 much, and hated the final episode. However, season 2, the 3 body problem is engrossing. It starts slowly - the first two episodes are historical, not science fiction, but once you get to episode 3 the sci-fi elements enter the picture.

I listen to a lot of fictional podcasts on my night shifts and once in a while I find one I enjoy enough to stick it out, but very rarely do I come across one that actually makes me tense. This one was just fantastic and will stick with me for a long time.

I’ll admit the ending was... unexpected, but at least it basically finishes. There were 2 instances of “slurping”, but I recommend to get past all that. This is an excellently written & acted story - would love to see where it goes in Season 2. I need more Lloyd! <3

Mediocre sound design, acting and a very non linear, messy story line. I wouldn’t recommend. Mildly entertaining but don’t expect much more than that. Overly dramatic and chaotic episode design- hard to follow and missing substance. The ending was absolutely just bizarre and left field....Read full review »

I understand that some people did not enjoy finale but how else are you going to wrap something like this up. Sound production also stellar. Ashli is an amazing actress. I can’t fault any of the acting; it is all very good. I really had fun and looked forward to listening.

Put me in the camp of “Enough with the slurping/kissing/ice clinking/chewing noises” in audio dramas. I DONT need to hear this stuff to believe it’s going on. In movies, heck in real life these noises don’t stand out so much so why are they so often played up in audio dramas. Just yuck. 😣 Aside...Read full review »

Agree with the other reviews; it’s amazing until the very last episode.

I would still recommend listening, it’s a good story up until the last episode. The ending went completely off the rails in a way that probably could have worked if it didn’t feel so abrupt, but is also handicapped by just being f*#king WEIRD.

I don’t know what everyone is hating on here, it’s definitely a turn but holy cow it’s fantastic.

I love a good fictional podcast, especially when the characters are done well. This was exhilarating until the end! I listened a second time I liked it so much

Great story, production values, and voice casting! Dakota is one of my absolute favorite podcast characters. Please make more seasons!

This is a mature, funny and thrilling story with great characters and stakes to die for. Opens your mind in more than one way, and main character Dakota Prentiss (Ashlie Atkinson) just nails it for everyone who loves a rough voice and tough character. Easy to get into, tough to let go!

This is my single favorite dramatic podcast, ever. I still have it in my feed in the futile hopes that they decide to do one more episode (they actually did a live one, episode 0, so my hope was not misplaced!).

Story -4 stars Production value-2 stars Acting-3 stars. I thought Dak was miscast Music- 2 stars Feels like a student making a good first attempt at a podcast. There’s much better Si-Fi podcasts out there.

Loved the casting, the story, the build up. Everything! Until the end. The ending made no sense and left me wanting. It’s a shame, there was so much potential, but in the end I was left disappointed.

Thought the story was interesting but didn’t love the ending. I thought Dak was an awesome lead voice; I like hearing a lower female voice like miners the main character! The character development was interesting but not super consistent. Gotta take Dak for who she is! But then there are moments...Read full review »

The storyline is good, except for the romance. I just don’t care about who’s sleeping with who. Feels like a soap opera. Also, the mouth noises of kissing makes me uncomfortable like listening to people chew.

This was a really interesting drama podcast
MelChamp73 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/06/19
I enjoyed the voice acting - nice to have a different sounding lead person/character for a change, and she’s a talented voice actor. Sure, the character’s insecurities weren’t appealing - she’s a lead, chemistry happens, *own* it, for goodness sake. But the real problem is the story, itself....Read full review »
