“Between the poor sound quality that plagues each discussion of these two "insiders" and the even poorer "analysis" that somehow manages to be at equally inane and unresearched, this podcast is awful. The one "Dave" (there are two Daves) stammers and bumbles through most of his sentences with "uh uh uh" and "eh eh ehs"; unfortunately for the listener he accentuates his stuttering by yelling for no reason. I feel badly for stutterers but good lord, they shouldn't have a podcast. This is amateur hour.
The "terrible" (I agree with this assessment) podcast I listened to before I cried "uncle" featured a lengthy breakdown of the NFL concussion protocol, which would have been interesting except they admitted that everything they were saying amounted to "guessing" and they really didn't know what the protocol was at all. A little bit of research and some readily attainable facts would have made the conversation useful and worthwhile. Too lazy I suppose. Of course the "Daves" were sure that Antonio Brown would play in a playoff game vs. the Broncos--the one Dave said he'd be "shocked if AB didn't tough it out"; this opinion was based on seeing AB in a sweatsuit at a practice he didn't participate in. Brown didn't play. The opinion was uninformed and irresponsible. Tough it out? Please.
Another odd and annoying feature of the podcast is the obsession these two have with calling players by nicknames that no one else in the world uses. "Manny Sanders"...good grief. It's odd and annoying.
Save your time people. You'd be better off listening to "Renegade" on an eternal loop than hearing these two buffoons break down the Steelers with a combination of zero facts and feckless, uninformed, and frankly stupid opinions.”Read full review »

“Great podcast. Your one stop for all the latest on the Pittsburgh Steelers. One of the hosts is a little rough around the edges and at times a little hard to listen to. But he makes up for it with incredibly solid understanding of the great game of football.”
