Science? Not Really, but some gets in anyway
Science is a method of inquiry that is always open to challenge and examination. This is biased from the "Double Secret Selection Committee" cherry picking folks who agree with Ken Ford on how they interpret research to their research itself. No where is this more glaring than in the podcasts on diet. There is a fixation on Paleo/Low Carb + High Fat put forward by people who's training is not in nutrition. They seem to think themselves qualified to preach because they have often eaten. On the other hand there have been bona fide scientists like Stuart McGill speaking on Back Mechanics that are cutting edge and informative. So, you need to be skeptical. That is science. I am continually enthralled by the variety and depth of ideas presented here. Also, it's rare that one finds great minds matched by great voices. Given the ketogenic bent of certain of the interviewers, perhaps mellifluous is the wrong term, but I'll use it nonetheless.Read full review »
