Interesting historical fiction
I only had a small inkling of who Emma of Normandy was. I now realize she and other ladies were serious powers in their time. Their memory and legacies were destroyed by individuals (men and women) rewriting the truths of history. Thanks for shining a light on one tough woman!

Great story but the narrator’s voice is cloying and a distraction. It’s as if she is reading from a children’s book, sing songy.
