Underwhelmed
Focus on the actual story at hand. Too many tangents. The narration sounds more like an audiobook than a podcast. Mispronounced names. Too many elaborate, unnecessary metaphors. This story has so much potential but the narration and script is lackluster.

Disable the notifications on your computer that keep pinging throughout the podcast. It may not bother some but it’s very distracting to me. Thanks!

Enjoyable short snippets of history, but very much an American viewpoint of a very English turbulent times. Simplistic, but nevertheless interesting and will entice those new to history to read and explore further. Intriguing and reachable.
