Swung from tears to rage to tears again. Overcome by the bravery and vulnerability of these young people in sharing their stories but most of all has drawn me to get up and partake in putting an end to this hideous system of injustice.

This is very eye-opening for me, for someone who is an almost 2-year old resident of Australia. I had a superficial knowledge of the barbaric history of this country but to delve into breadth and magnitude of the atrocities that occurred then and how it’s affecting its descendants today makes me...Read full review »

Heartbreaking and powerful. If more people heard these stories racism and prejudice could be wiped out in a heartbeat. It’s time to change WA - justice reinvestment is the way forward.

Brilliant stuff, talking about issues in Australia’s justice system with a fearless and honest approach. Unlike anything else online.

Renna’s story was so powerful, this episode should be included in the English curriculum in our schools. I’m sure our kids would get more out of discussing her experience than some of the other texts they cover.

Thank you for sharing this powerful story. Listening to Renna’s suffering within the system was gut wrenching. I was moved by her resolve to recover for her kids.

Moving and disturbing, but ultimately inspiring. This story calls for change in society’s attitude and approach to helping disadvantaged and dysfunctional people to rebuild their lives.
