Restoration
The stories are beautiful, interesting, powerful, and inspiring. My criticism is there needs to be more women's voices included. Women’s stories of birthing on the land, medicine gathering, hide tanning, trapping, food harvesting, storytelling, and governing (etc). Indigenous women's voices have been ignored or erased from land narratives and restoration of this is critcal. Nia:wen

More reviews of Stories From The Land
Sometimes the stories are funny. Sometimes they're poignant. Sometimes they're gripping. Sometimes they're thoughtful. Sometimes they're all those things at once. They're always the stories that bind people to land, so they're always important. I really feel honored to be able to hear them.

Personal storytelling is where radio really comes into its own. Stories from the land is not just a podcast. These are important, timeless documents. Hayden King is great, hosting stories from different parts of indigenous country. And the website has a map that pinpoints were each story took place.

I love the stories. What I dislike is the intro. It's so long sometimes it takes up 1/3 of the whole track!!!
