“I don’t like the presenter’s delivery. It feels too grandiose, self important, over-acted. Too much “production”. Not enough content.
I’m not sure wilders and meloni and le pen are any more “divisive” than Sunak, Hunt, Cameron or Starmer. Politics is about shifting sands - todays divider is often tomorrow’s uniter. And why is divisive “bad” and uniting “good”? - some of the worst politicians in history united their people.
“Divisive” is a code word used to signal your disapproval. I don’t like journalism which does that. I don’t want to be recruited to “like” the presenter. I want content - unadulterated unembellished pure and simple.
Sorry to be critical - I really liked the Iranian dissident podcast.”
