Expands upon the book no end
Having read the Story Grid I’d taken away the concept but was struggling to apply it quickly to my writing. The lack of practical applications beyond writing a thriller meant a lot of work was needed to apply what was in the book. The podcast fills in those gaps. Often diving into incredible detail with multiple examples of writing and genres it’s really opened my eyes up to a different way of thinking regarding starting a book. The combination of inexperienced yet extremely savvy Tim Grahl and incredibly experienced author Shawn Coyne means that it hits absolutely the right notes whatever level of writing books you are at. Highly recommended.
