Good stories, stilted presentation
Story of the Week has introduced me to many articles and headlines that I otherwise would've missed. While a very Readers Digest-y version of the story, I appreciate having the journalist on to describe the process of investigating and reporting. My one criticism is that Joel Stein, the person who did not write the article, is driving the podcast, which means the majority of the show is him recapping the story (occasionally stumbling over key plot points and phrasing), then asking a leading "Right?" to the journalist for confirmation.Read full review »

tbh I have not listened to it. I’m just getting continuous advertisements for it. It sounds like another vacuous play for fame and money built on a pointless concept rewarding nobody except a promotions company.
