Great analysis of the latest “Poilievre video”
Listened to the pod, watched the video, came back to the pod to listen that section again, back to the video again, and so on a couple of times. So many nuanced perspectives! Land cost of $800k, municipal cost of $600k and a sale price of $1M is confusing, but who cares. If a problem is inherently complicated (as David concluded), and leaders can’t figure it out but pretend they do, then people see through that and prefer simple, hope based alternatives. Good to board on that wave and ride. Hon. David Eby took the ride, but that didn’t totally change the trajectory of prices in BC. Love it!

I totally agree! Puts Canada, perhaps on shaky ground. And Yes many do not understand. You have the audience and knowledge to do something about it. Find a way to explain the importance of these institutions! I love the podcast so real and opinionated!

Entertaining and informative, but it really misses an NDP perspective. This wasn’t as obvious during the election, but it is now that the pod is talking about issues like the economy and the environment.
