Ben Adair takes it down a few levels
It turns out a white guy pretending he doesn’t know anything at all while coattailing on a much more competent woman of color is just as annoying as a white guy pretending he knows everything and coattailing on a woman of color. Sharon Choi is awesome. Adair just should not have inserted himself into the storytelling and should have just played producer. His wooden, contrived Socratic dialogue is a major drag on the forward motion of the story. That said the reporting is great, the writing is great and the production is excellent. Really compelling investigative storytelling.
