Fall in love with your music all over again
Smile, laugh and delight in the things you didn’t know about the music you have been listening to for years. In some cases for many many years. What is the last line of Mr Blue Sky? Who sings all the lines in the first part of Bohemian Rhapsody? Why do songs just sound so good? What time signature did they use or change to? All presented in a style that is a brilliant balance of enough musical theory for those who have a little theory but not too much to bombard the lay person. Kirk clearly adores music, all music. That loves oozes out of the speakers or headphones and infects you, to the point that you just want to listen to you music all over again. This time though you are listening to it with greater insight and little more knowledge. Absolutely try this podcast. start anywhere, pick a song you love, I guarantee you will go back to the beginning and work you way through them all.

Kirk is a beast! His love of music is contagious; listening to him dissect songs makes me want to listen and play more music! He breaks things down into bite-sized thoughts, and really brings so much depth out of how each component is crafted into a whole that just works! Superb!
