“Um...like...ahh, this is like...a podcast, ya know, about...like, science? And ahh...the um... hosts...um, might talk about stuff that's like, related to science and stuff?
The preceeding approximates the conversational tone and speed of this podcast. There is some relevant information in each episode, if you can get past the hosts, who sound as if they were still in Middle School, trying to struggle their way through a science presentation that neither one of them are interested in. It's obvious that there is a lack of confidence in presentation skills and knowledge base that each host possesses, plus a disturbing lack of passion or interest in the subject matter under discussion. Perhaps the style of these podcasts are a lame attempt by HowStuffWorks to appeal to a much younger and less conversationally literate demographic. Regardless, this podcast comes across as very amateurish and unprofessional. I am disappointed.”Read full review »
