Usually interesting content.
The topics are usually interesting, but (and perhaps this was exacerbated because I listened to several in a row to "catch up" on what was already posted) the dialogue seemed repetitious (formulaic) which reduced the enjoyment for me. Man - Do you know about <insert topic>? Woman - I do! But I'll let you tell about it anyway... Man - <Tells about topic.> So, do you think it's fact or fiction? Woman - A little bit of both... <gives a very brief explanation that may or may not refer to where the information was obtained.> Occasionally, the information is a little off-base (e.g., saying that the people who entered King Tut's tomb may have been poisoned by chemical agents that had been trapped in a tomb that was "closed for several million years" -- King Tut reigned somewhere around 1300 BC, maybe? Hardly millions of years ago, though the chemical agent theory is probably still sound). Perhaps I'm just too much of an anal retentive scientist who prefers accuracy, though... The woman's voice (accent?) is a little annoying to me, too (but that's just a personal preference and shouldn't stop anyone from trying it out).Read full review »

The premise is great, but these are two of the most annoying women I've ever heard. Please dump the current hosts and I'll start downloading on a regular basis.Read full review »

I've become hooked to just about all of the How Stuff Works podcasts but this one is most often the one where I get the most interesting information. Full of intriging history topics, some of the early podcasts were basically lead-ins to get you to go the website to read the article. The...Read full review »
