Megan Signal - New Zealand Weightlifter
Listen now
Description
This is the incredibly strong in stature and in nature wahine toa, Megan Signal. Our first and favourite [I can say that on the first one] chat of season 2 for Sub Her In. Megan openly shares her slightly indiffrent journey into the elite levels of sport through a pure want for better health at a later age. From humble crossfit beginnings to the prestigous honour of earning the Fern on the World stage as an Olympic Weightlifter. Megan is so humble and grounded in how she articulates the journey she is on. It is an extremely refreshing conversation to listen in on for the importance of trust. Trust for the people you surround yourself with and trust in the values and path you are currently on. The most relevant and anchoring take away for me was the importance of conversation. The weight it can lift by engaging in one, and the burden it can leave beause we chose not to have one. Thank you Megan for selflessly giving up your time. Good luck for the upcoming Commonwealth Games this year! We'll be watching x
