3 things to takeaway from this podcast with Katie: 1. Choosing to embrace hardships and reframe them into a place where you can control is key. 2. Being able to hold on to independence but in a well supported environment is so important for young women moving on to the next level in sport. 3. Prioritise your mental health and wellbeing. 3 things to takeaway and talk about 1. The importance of developing and understanding your own identity. 2. It is okay, to not be okay. Mental health issues and experiences can present themselves later on in your adolescence or adulthood. 3. Find balance. Eat the chocolate! Take time off if you need it. Value and treasure the people that are important to you in your life. Sport will provide amazing opportunities if you allow it to, but balancing them all to co-exist is what matters most.
