“Listened to a podcast apparently about why Mormons are so good at learning languages. I expected something akin to ethnographic analysis about attitudes or techniques of languAge learning. Turned it off when they started talking about why Finnish people, who rank among the happiest in the world, should be open to listening to Mormon missionaries...? This is not a podcast with a critical perspective on language. At several points, I looked at the info to determine whether this was in some way sponsored by the church of Latter Day Saints. Don’t see it listed anywhere, but make no mistake, this is basically propaganda.”
