“Despite the grim subject matter - crimes against children - this is an exceptionally listenable podcast with excellent writing and presentation. I can't fault it, from the content to the treatment of the victims - (they are not forgotten in the telling of THEIR story, as so many True Crime podcasts do!) Obviously there will be people who can't stomach even the thought of child abuse, and therefore I would recommend if you are like listen with extreme caution - but know that descriptions are not gratuitous and extra warnings are given. As sad and as horrifying as the stories are, it's not all doom and gloom, the host Lane also gives a voice to the heroes in these stories, such as police and foster parents - and the victims! Like Lane, I think the stories of these children should be told so people can be educated about the signs of child abuse and what to do - and so we remember their names.”Read full review »
