One of a kind
I've listened to many NBA related podcasts over the years of different varieties over the years, and I don't think any of them have gotten more laughs out of me than the few shows these guys have done. They're not quite "The Starters" yet, but they give me the same vibe where I can enjoy the chemistry, humor and banter between the hosts and guests because it doesn't feel like they take themselves too seriously. It's like being in a conversation with two good friends who love basketball as much as you do, and there's no egos involved. Chemistry is a really delicate balance IMO, and it doesn't work for a lot of podcasts like ESPN Lockdown, and CBS Eye On Basketball, where you feel like the hosts are kind of in their own world, above the listener, and you just kind of roll your eyes when they laugh uncontrollably at their own jokes and pat themselves on the back for being "witty", as they try to pass off their opinions as some kind of gospel. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt the need to do this one to support them and hope they continue to keep doing podcasts.Read full review »

This show is miles ahead of The Ringer, ESPN, CBS or any other basketball podcast. Your life will never be the same once you venture to Take City.
