I was looking for a podcast with survival stories and I love yours! It’s wonderful that you find stories from all different time periods. Keep going.

Very well done!

Looked interesting. Thought it would be a primary source recounting their experience. Instead it’s an extremely cornily written script narrated by actors that make it sound like a children’s tv show. What a disappointment! A million ads.

I loved this podcast when it first came out. All of 2019 was filled with awesome survival stories. 2020 has had no new content though, it’s just been crossovers from different podcasts. It’s annoying seeing the new episodes come out just for them to be episodes of other podcasts. I want to stay...Read full review »

Thanks for referring to this as a terror attack. Truth to power 👍🏻👍🏻

I loved this podcast, but they haven’t had any actual new episodes for many months. Tired of Parcast uploading crossovers and ads to so many of their shows, making it seem like there are lots of new episodes, when it’s just a bunch of duplicates of the same ad for a different show spamming my feed.

Dope stuff but anything new survival related coming soon ?

I love the podcast. You 2 compliment each other very well. The stories keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. I especially appreciate the added info and educational material that makes everything you are presenting fit together. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts and although...Read full review »

Great stories and writing but takes about 5min to start...just get on with it.

These stories are exactly the edutainment Winston Smith might expect to come out of a Bloomberg funded tele-screen.

They haven’t updated a new episode in forever, they just play episodes from other podcasts on their network.

Start doing real episodes again and I’ll give a higher star rating

Survival was one of my go-to podcasts, an amazing blend of harrowing true life tales and gripping narration. There haven’t been any episodes released recently. I hope this podcast isn’t over and it makes a comeback!!

Really interesting survival stories, but I really struggle to follow with 2 separate people talking it just feels disconnected and I really have to concentrate to be able to follow the story.

I got interested because I spent time in rwa da in 2020 and wanted to learn some history about the genocide and how it had played out in contemporary times. All The episodes I’ve heard are super interesting.

As always, parcast has thrown the ball out of the park. I love this show and the hosts!!!!!!! Keeps my busy during my night shift job in a shop. Thank you again Parcast.

One of my favorites. So inspiring! Several episodes have prompted me to read books about the subject. A lot of history. Keep the stories coming.

This podcast is refreshing and a nice change compared to the many others I listen to that are crime murder mystery missing vanished etc. 😎 definitely a keeper

Is this podcast narrated by robots? My goodness, what a boring duo. Not only do they talk too slow, but switching back and forth from narrator to narrator is super annoying. I just don’t have the patience for this one.
NordyGirl1 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/28/20
So good! I was getting crap from my family about true crime podcasts (they say it contributes to my nightmares... I don’t think so lol) but anyway, this is a good alternative right?.... right...? :)
ssidneyb via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/23/20
I started at the first episode and worked my way though. I’m obsessed with this series. I keep trying to push it onto my friends.

Want to listen to this podcast? Well too bad because it’s going to be filled with a whole bunch of other stuff that you never wanted to listen to in the first place.

It feels like if they’re narrating it only to you

I am loving the ‘beating the odds’ series though I wish the stories were more in-depth and went for longer.

I love all of Parcast’s podcasts. I’ve recently noticed a few of them haven’t posted an episode since the very beginning of January though, this one included. Are they going to continue soon? I want more!!!!!!

I’ve really enjoyed listening to this podcast. Thank you for making it interesting and showing how bad it must of been. I felt like I was there. Keep up your amazing work.

The ads for Ashely Flowers makes me want to pull my hair out!
CaitlinLilyGrove via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 04/02/20
I don’t know what’s more annoying, the terrible and distracting background music, or the over slick narrators. I couldn’t get through one episode.
Hbibubui via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/30/20
Now that the plagiarist, Ashley Flowers has been added to the lineup I feel no guilt deleting Parcast Originals from my feed. It was irritating that lately they seemed to be plagiarizing themselves and avoiding putting out new content, but perhaps they had learned tricks from a new partner.

So disappointed that Paracast would feature a person who has plagiarized from independent true crime podcasters.
E.Wiley123 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/12/20
This podcast fleshes out history in a way that no other podcast does. Great story telling!
canucklehead73 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/08/20
I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this is my favorite by far. Interesting topics and I especially love the historical stories. The narrators do a great job and I always enjoy listening to them. Never stop learning!
Oregon_isme via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/08/20
It’s such an interesting and diverse set of stories! I really appreciate the vastly different types of survival stories you cover. Please don’t stop releasing more!
VQR123 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/04/20
I really like this podcast that does not focus on crime. Please don’t stop. I am anxiously awaiting the next one

Just one thing. Please stop posting trailers for new feed or show in all parcast shows. I'm subscribed to so many parcast shows and because of that when you post the trailer for a new podcast in all parcast podcasts I get the same notification 10 times all at once. Also please don't...Read full review »

I cannot enjoy a story w the constant switching of narrators. I lose concentration in the story. Really wanted to like this podcast series but I cannot cope w multiple narrators. Hope Parcast will drop this in future podcasta.
@LibMike_Rants via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/28/20
Striving to make real human tragedy palatable for everyone. With good production. Catchy narrators. Lots of adds. And a veiled attempt to hide their White Liberal Guilt Racism. Listen to Rwandan genocide episodes.... Parcast has sunk to a new low.
