Fil tells what he thinks is a cute story about not giving a ticket to a celebrity wrestler in exchange for that wrestler’s autograph. Another example of a proud Christian who acts unethically for his own selfish desires.

These are so good I usually listen to each of them two or three times! Joel is a master at his craft as he guides his guests through all the important questions and most interesting details of topics. Joel is warm and genuine. His relationships with COE and Karm are endearing and his guests...Read full review »

Love Joel and carm. Find coe irritating Joel, you lick the boots of your guests then completely disrespect them through the episodes. The interrupting is out of control! If I never hear about this book again it’ll be too soon Can’t really take coe’s voice or commentary. Please stay behind the...Read full review »

Good idea- long form discussion with knowledgeable guests. But the host’s idiotic interjections (“The defendant had an affair with his au pair. Hey, that rhymes!”) and lack of preparation (don’t accuse him of that or he’ll spend half his show saying you and everyone who says it is wrong wrong)...Read full review »

I enjoyed your coverage of Adelson case but, your coverage of Karen Read is awful and dishonest. Sounding like Turtle Boy is stupid and not what the evidence is.

These stories could be told in fifteen minutes. Never ending and so random. They could take lessons from Dateline stories. #cliffnotes. This pod has jumped the shark!!

Your show has totally picked up ! Joel you are a pleasure to listen to , you got the balance right regarding light guest gab, and the topic at hand . It’s a fine balance and you’ve succeeded ! You do have the best guests ever and the show is very very informative and my favourite ! Love your...Read full review »

The podcast has great guests and is usually interesting. However, Joel gets off topic frequently, to talk about himself and it’s very annoying. I don’t understand why he thinks the audience is more interested in his life rather than the cases he is covering. He also shamelessly plugs his book...Read full review »

I used to love this show for true crime interviews and guests. Now you have to fast forward through the first 10 mins to avoid the host complaining about his life, his wife, COVID, he’s so tired, he has a headache and on and on. His guests even try to distract him so they are aware also. I can’t...Read full review »

Phil tell us he’s trying to spread the good news. Lol. if there was a magic man in the sky, why would Phil have to spread the news? Can’t the “creator of everything“ communicate with people. These cults are so stupid and there’s absolutely zero evidence. I thought Phil liked evidence. I guess...Read full review »

STS Nation is a GREAT podcast. However, the fact that you have ADHD does not equal to the rest of people having needing to hear/watch things 3-4-5 times in a row, only to asks a few more questions and start again replacing the same clips AGAIN 3-4-5 Times in a Row. Please understand with...Read full review »

Joel Waldman and his amazing mother Karmela are one of the best podcast duos I’ve ever encountered. The amazing guests, the excellent topics, Joel’s wit and humor, the humanness of both of them, the COE (Chief of Everything) who makes everything work, the overarching kindness and goodness that...Read full review »

I’ve been watching for about 4 years now. The show has really grown but it still has a family feel. I love that the whole family is involved. Karmela rocks!

Discovered STS during the Addelson trial. Then to my great surprise, discovered the host is Joel Waldman. As a Waldman myself and having an uncle named, Joel Waldman, I was immediately hooked. Learning of Karm’s story further asserted my love for this show. Her advocacy is one of strength. Joel...Read full review »

STS has plummeted quickly during the Karen Read trial. Joel is clearly not listening when even on pretending to follow the trial. He made friends with some true YouTube grifters at Crime Con and is looking more and more like one himself. If you want to catch panels that have guests that haven’t...Read full review »

Phil Waters may be one of the worst people I have ever heard. He is rude, arrogant, and selfish. I bet he considers himself a Christian but is against the principles of Jesus. I will never waste my time listening to someone as soulless as he.

I started listening to this podcast about a year ago. Don’t even remember how I found it, but gave it a shot and really enjoyed it. The tagline is true, some of the best guests. Informative, great guests, stays on top of all the big cases. (I can’t do the one about the kid though). Their book is a great read. I don’t know where he finds the time and energy to produce so much timely content…..but I’m here for it!

Eye roll moment every time Joel goes into one of his self facing diatribes. Needs to learn that he isn’t that interesting. And enough with the book. Torturing the listener is not a sales technique

Wonderful podcast and great host!!! Joel brings on amazing guests who will argue both sides of a case. There’s no bias from this podcast!!! I am obsessed with Markel / Adelson case and they have some great coverage of it, especially when they have ex friends, co workets spilling the tea. The shout outs to audience members in the middle of interviews does get annoying though.

Joel always has the best guests and awesome conversations about current and upcoming trials. In addition, I love being able to watch live trial drama and to discuss with others in the chat. It’s a great group of people and Joel has the best moderators and followers!

The main investigator of the case is an embarrassment to all Law Enforcement. Trooper Proctor’s ‘investigation’ did not search the home of the lawn where Officer O’Keefe was found murdered.
