So sad how you can laugh at something so serious. Get out of here

How someone can tell highly vulnerable true accounts of people in heartbreaking situations while laughing, and joking, is disgusting. Very disappointing and the fact that this kind of stuff is in airwaves is sad . Hosts should have maturity and empathy when telling stories. This was so...Read full review »

The story itself was good but the two people that told it were extremely immature and laughing as they were saying the story of a woman who survived a brutal attack of her ex-husband. There was Nothing funny about this story. It needed to be told with respect and compassion.

Ok I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as they are new to podcasting so I turned off the first episode about halfway through and tried another one, it got worse. First, please study words prior to using them as you use several incorrectly. When you edit your episode try to cut out the...Read full review »

I thought this might be a podcast about survival and perseverance. Turned out it was another crime podcast. But I was horrified by these two giggling throughout somebody’s terrifying ordeal. I’m glad that neither of them have ever suffered trauma before but their insensitivity was astounding.

If I could give this -1 stars I would. Laughing during a story about real life sensitive experiences is extremely inappropriate. DO BETTER OR STOP PODCASTING. This is not okay. An apology to all who even try to listen is way overdue.

I like the pod! I will laugh at inappropriate moments so I can relate to them. I was laughing along with them. Yes it is insensitive but that is how I deal with hard things 🤷🏻‍♀️ doesn’t meant I don’t understand or empathize with someone who lost their toes. If you don’t like it move on.

Hosts are super insensitive to the hardships of the individual’s stories. They mention a sensitive topic and laugh. Example: the topic of someone losing their toes and being a domestic violence victim and they’re laughing. Horrible.

These podcasters are so insensitive, they laugh at everything. It feels like a couple of teenagers who are telling eachother stories meanwhile flirting the whole time. The absolute worst podcast I’ve ever listened to. Grow up and think about people’s feelings and flirt on your own time .

I was hoping for true life survival stories that would be told with empathy and kindness. These two are evidence that these qualities can not be faked well. I cringed so many times in the one story I listened to. Very incentive and immature.

Using the word literally incorrectly is showing your age and level of education. Too much banter.

They are extremely insensitive... they laugh at the worst things. I don’t understand how this is ok.

First. I hardly ever write reviews. Especially if I’m not pleased with the content. I usually move on with no need to comment. However, after I listened to the first episode, I have to comment. First. You spent the entirety of the first six minutes of the first episode, SIX MINUTES, giggling...Read full review »

I really like the stories but they can be a little insensitive to peoples stories sometimes when they laugh at certain parts while telling the stories. I will continue to listen but hopefully they keep this in mind and can be more sensitive to the survivors at times going forward!

I've always loved true crime but I've been searching for a podcast about survivors and their stories. It is my favorite subgenre of true crime. I love that I've finally found a podcast dedicated to this purpose. So far I love the way the stories are being told! It was also interesting...Read full review »
