Type 2 Diabetes and hormones
I love y’all!!! I’m a 44 year old momma of 3. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas but now live in Maryland with my Yankee husband from New Jersey. I called my mom and sister both and said go listen to this now! And don’t do it while you’re driving in your car because you’ll laugh so hard you’ll tinkle your panties!!! I have Type 2 diabetes. I had gestational diabetes with all 3 and was insulin dependent. All 3 were c-section. My body went back to normal within hours of delivering. But when my baby turned 5, my A1C went haywire. My doctor and I had been monitoring it due to the gestational diabetes and both my father and grandfather developed type 2 in their 40’s and 50’s. I had a hysterectomy 1 1/2 years ago. Still have my ovaries. I am currently on Metformin, Victoza, and other meds for my hypertension. I want to know what supplements I can take for hormones? I tried doing Plexus with one of my sorority sisters who sells it and wound up passing out a few times. So I stopped that. Lastly I am crazy anemic. I have been on the Cadillac (that is what my doctor calls it) of iron supplements and I’m going to get my blood checked today after 3 months of taking it. I’m tired all the time and I’m losing my hair! My skin is a gift from God and has always been one of my best features. And you won’t believe it, but I only use an Aveeno wipe at night to clean my face! Anyway...love y’all! Please keep doing what you do! Cheers-Missing Dixie

Never thought I would laugh about a subject that can be so frustrating to navigate through, but I do! Very helpful information to hear. I learn something valuable every podcast. Thanks for adding humor and making it a positive vs. negative experience.

Leeann you’re hilarious and VERY lucky to have Karen as your practitioner! Karen thank you for putting this valuable info out there! I’m a Stage 3 survivor who, post treatment, went on a journey to figure this thing out. I get frustrated that we spend a month hosed down in pink, but they never...Read full review »
