I grew up with the idea that we are going to get the food we need from the supermarket. There was no gardening or farming and because of that I have no idea where to begin. This is a great podcast to start the process of learning how.

I had never heard of homesteading or really had a desire to do anything relating to the outdoors lol but Jenny has inspired me to try it out! I love how she can really break things down for someone like me, who basically has no knowledge.

I love the Garden Planning episode for 2021. As someone who is barely learning how to take care of a garden. I found this episode extremely helpful with actionable steps on how to do it. HCTSP

Yep! One of my new faves. I already found myself dreaming of Jenny’s calmer life on the farm and connection to her chickens. I love how tactical and inclusive she is with what she shares.

As a city girl who definitely wants to raise some chickens and goats, this podcast is PERFECT. It gives the basics as well as more advanced info for people who actually want to plant and grow, etc. And it is so much FUN. Highly recommend. Everyone has an inner greenhouse.

So many of us are hoping to make the shift from consumer to producer, or at least bro by more balance to our place on the continuum. Great practical guidance anyone can implement in our places on the world. 🌸

Besides sharing great tips, I love the stories Jenny shares especially about her chickens...to hear in Ep. 30 how they are named after The Scooby Doo Crew but also has hens named after Steel Magnolias & The Golden Girls we can only imagine how much fun she has building her homestead ❤️

So much of this resonates with me from intentional living to scratch cooking to my desire to have chickens (although my husband is still on the fence). Jenny is sweet easy to listen to, like best friend sharing best life secrets.

Was going to start with Anyone can homestead, but had to go with the gift giving episode first as I am planning my gift giving guide for the year today. Love the approach of experience and consumables over stuff that will never be used. Great job! This in binge worthy.
