You missed a couple of big ones
Enjoyed the Beatle soundalike and/or inspired by episode however I think you missed a few significant ones. They are: Stackridge- The Man in the Bowler Hat or as it was titled in the States, Pinafore Days. Though not outright imitating them, the writing, singing and production could have been Abbey Road Pt 2(from 70s) Utopia-Deface the Music. Todd Rundgrens homage to the boys(1980) Raspberries. This band was heavily influenced by the early Beatles, McCartney in particular. Emitt Rhodes(his 2nd album). Entirely written, played and I believe produced by him. Very early solo McCartneyesque. I recall Rolling Stone calling it at the time the solo album Paul should have made. Billy Joel. The Nylon Curtain. The only Joel album I’ve ever really enjoyed. Lennon influence is all over it. Anyhow, agree or disagree, this old Beatle fan really enjoys your podcast. Keep up the good work. Stay healthy, Lew Karp

More reviews of The Beatles Naked
It’s always been just the Beatles for me and it’s heartwarming to find such a great podcast. My favorite one so far. I love how the subjects are presented and varied and always songs in the podcasts because, after all, it’s the Beatles. If you love the Beatles, give it a listen.

Fantastic. One of the most interesting podcasts on any subject. In this case, fortunately, it's The Beatles. Edit: After listening to this more and more, I'd say it's the best podcast on the Beatles.)Read full review »

Third was a great show atone time. Out of nowhere it turned into clips of a patron only show. It’s worthwhile to binge what shows are available though.
