Weird right-wing screed against critics and superior justice systems
What is this? I wanted analysis on the cases in one of my favorite crime podcasts. Instead I get this one-sided argument against internet critics (Apparently he gets called out for occasional problematic statements. God forbid he self reflect). It even comes complete with a pair of fans to fawn and tell him how right he is. (and a touch of internally inconsistent liberal bashing for good measure) Oh, crapping on Canada's demonstrably more humane and *effective* justice system when you're from our mass-incarceration, prisoners-for-profit society that is the US is jaw-droppingly blind. You mean a justice system that doesn't work on punishment for punishment's sake (mere vengeance), but rather focuses on protecting the people while rehabilitating our fellow humans as much as possible? But ignoring all the data that represents real-world improvements to society, to people, here's this one killer who isn't in a cage forever even though he was sick. Eek my anomaly-hunting has confirmed my biases! Regardless, side with him or against him in his very, very important Facebook arguments, I just don't get why this is a podcast.Read full review »

I love S&S but this is rough. Stephanie's voice is grating and Lynette has trouble finishing a sentence, let alone a thought. I have high hopes for the future, if they can improve their preparation.Read full review »
