First, the one star hater reviews seem to have been taken out of a knee-jerk ultra right wing Spam response can. There’s no way they could really have listened to the series, even the ones that cite specific moments because they either didn’t actually hear them or they didn’t allow themselves to...Read full review »

This podcast is incredible! It really points out the fear people have around equity and what some people feel it means. The first two episodes really opened my eyes to Colorado Springs school District 11 and the injustice that is taking place there.I look forward to the remaining episodes yet to...Read full review »

This is the first episode that I’ve listened to and it’s a story, unfortunately and sadly that continues to be told and to be heard all over the country. I hope parents and communities will continue to stand up for the educational equity and equal opportunity for all children to learn cultural...Read full review »

Systemic is a great podcast that give a voice to those in our Colorado communities that are ignored, overlooked and at time prevented from speaking. Each episode is a story told by one of our neighbors. Listen. You will learn and can pass it on!

I really appreciate the quality and honesty of this podcast. This is not about being “woke,” this is about taking an honest look at the systems in place that have led to our current situation. Our system is broken, it’s operating as designed.

Well done. Important voices we don’t normally hear. Ignore the ignorant haters. And they call us Snowflakes. Toughen up and learn some hard truths.

This episode was spot on.

What I heard in the trailer and the first 2 episodes is the same biased perspective presented regularly on NPR. It’s a shame that public radio fails to present a range of perspectives that could lead to better understanding and public policy. The podcast repeatedly highlights the assumption that...Read full review »

I think this podcast has an important message but I couldn’t get into as the host is better suited for a meditation or therapy podcast rather than talk about such a serious and heavy subject. I loved hearing from the lawyer and the female cop.

There are literally no factual based arguments for systemic racism in America other than the “13% of the population” rebuttal. Which literally still doesn’t matter but it’s a good way to distract someone who doesn’t understand how to test ideas. 13% of the population is black. That equates to...Read full review »

This is great reporting, producing, and all around storytelling. Really helps me see in perspectives that aren’t my own. Thank you for this endeavor! I subscribed and look forward to new episodes coming out soon.

You can always tell when racists are triggered. This podcast is well done. Informative. And to the reviewer who said numbers don’t lie...you’re correct but you have to understand them before you can speak on them. And you clearly don’t understand fractions or ratios. Try running those...Read full review »

This is a one-sided narrative that lacks depth and objectivity. The sole purpose appears to be to serve as a validating echo chamber for the sheep eating up slop from media sources seeking ratings. Watching paint dry would be a better use of your time.

As someone who’s uncle is an open racist who raises insanely giant German sheppards for a police dept in WA and uses German commands, I always loved the dogs but this podcast reminded me that the history of the use of Dogs is quite brutal and indeed has racial overtones. Furthermore dogs cannot...Read full review »

Story telling is at its best when you get to know the depth of the subject and can consider the fragments of perspective from all of the participants. This story moved me and I am interested to hear more and more

Systemic provides a strong anti-racist message while examining issues in policing from multiple angles. The whole premise is just false… inaccurate… based on a false narrative. There is no epidemic of racist cops targeting black men. The numbers do not lie (although from what I’ve heard, the whole idea of truth based on evidence and reason is “white”, so…). This is not an issue of racial equity,...Read full review »

The podcast has a clear agenda. As you listen to subjects speak you can’t believe the podcaster isn’t asking obvious follow up questions or seeking statements from the other parties involved. This isn’t journalism.

The political left is hellbent on painting all white people as evil. This podcast simply perpetuates that lie. Gross

Insightful podcast. Most podcast are created to inform and bring a different prospective to those that; “don’t know, have never experienced, ignorant of or are open to explore”. Stepping from ones own shadow into a view that is not your own can change your energy, your spirit your community.

A sad attempt to justify criminal activity and poor decisions with a focus on race as an excuse, while putting the blame on the men and women of the law who are tasked with dealing with criminals and their lack of personal accountability. Thank you for presenting this story about Devaughn. I pray that each day brings us closer to police reform and racial equity. I fear for the lives of my black children. If we all stand up against racism we can bring the needed change to this generation.
