“It's a nice idea ala The Moth, but from Southerners perspectives. The stories are often interesting and the writing engaging. However, the readers are horrible. I liken it to listening to elementary school kids reading their "What I did last Summer" essays up in front of the class. Same goes for the emcees. Everyone needs to bring it up several notches or have professionals do the readings and introductions. Right now, it's like the worlds worst open mic.”
