Entertaining, informative, and digestible
The narrator has a an amazing way of telling these complicated and disjointed tales, while making them entertaining and easily digestible! He takes the lack of continuity (germaine to the subject), and somehow makes them logical to follow. He has great respect and knowledge of the topic, however, is quite able to snarkily point out inconsistencies and how the linear modern brain was likely never meant to hear a story without it being presented all tied up neatly with a bow on top. The contextual discussions at the end of each episode are informative and equally as entertaining as the tales themselves. I was concerned that my modern, linear brain would not take to the “no particular order” aspect, but I truly think it enriches the experience, and plenty of background is provided in which to pick up right where the tale last left off. I look forward to each episode. I can’t imagine reading further on any of these Celtic tangents without having the background from this narrator... Well done!
