Hilarious Commentary
I was going to wait until I caught up on the episodes before writing a review, but I wanted to praise 31. The Seeker Knight in particular. The Dungeons And Dragons role-play description for a battle scene from the tale and the Heavy Metal Magazine cover references for the visuals were hilarious. I love the non-stop commentary used to tell the stories, and that episode was such a great example of this form of story-telling.

It’s difficult to find a podcast which isn’t pretentious or contrived. I struggle these days with these podcasts which aren’t about the subject but more about the narrator being a self congratulating annoyance. this podcast is amazing, i love how well you tie in history with storytelling and fun little creepy (and sometimes terrifying) stories! i’m always excited when i see new episodes have been uploaded :))
