Real storytelling with a modern twist.
There’s nothing else quite like this podcast. Modern storytelling at its best, with cinematic scene-setting and moments of genuine tension. It’s told in a modern voice, with lots of funny asides and a tongue-in-cheek skepticism for fairytale morality, but there’s an obvious love for the source material throughout, so it never veers into smug hipsterdom.

This is a fun podcast with some wonderfully salty asides, class commentary, and a strong foundation of good research. The stories are interesting and the discussion afterward is excellent! A fun listen for sure.

Just listened to my first episode about the phantom horseman. Really informative, excellent story telling, and good humour. Excited to work my way through this podcast- I hope more episodes get released this year as I am going to binge it !
