Wrestling interviews are good, but very unfunny.
Jericho has a ton of personality, but it feels like it's falling flat on this podcast. Lots of repeated things that were not remotely funny in the first place (Chris Jericho invented Mr. T's mom?? Oates Mustache?). I almost feel like Jericho would work better with someone else on the podcast. Austin is more entertaining with Ted Fowler or his Wife on the mic, Bill Burr is more entertaining with Paul Versey, I feel Jericho could benefit from a permanent broadcast partner, provided it's not just a Podcast One yesman. As is the norm with podcast one, the advertising seems a bit TOO heavy. Being prerecorded makes it easier to skip through, which is good for me, bad for advertisers. When Jericho has guests on from the wrestling world, the interviews are great and end up having lots of cool stories from within that world. I found his interviews with musicians and movie stars/comedians a bit boring. Sebastien Bach was entertaining as hell, but he couldn't been sitting there by himself and likely been entertaining. I find myself doing the same thing I do with Marc Marons podcast, and only downloading episodes with interviews I'm interested in. Also, in person interviews beat the hell out of on the phone interviews, hence another reason I feel Cabana's podcast is the premier wrestling podcast right now.Read full review »

I had always been a fan since the cruiserweight days of WCW and regularly listened to Stone Cold's podcast. When I heard the interview with Edge I was hooked. Every episode it's an intriguing guest and an engaging interview.Read full review »
