We are Cowboy Fans - Not Adversaries
Listening to the September 11 Talkin' Cowboys, I felt the cast was both too defensive and even a bit antagonistic with callers. The cast should remember we are fans. Some of us might not be that knowledgeable and some might not be able to convey what they know. However, rather than using filmroom observations to unfairly win a caller down, try being a little be a little more patient. Though the team looked disappointing, especially on offense, This was game 1. Perhaps the Cowboys, Lions and a few other teams protected starters too much during preseason. I understand the risk of injury and the need to assess new players but I also believe these factors have to be balanced with the risk of having units going into opening day with too little playing time together.Read full review »

I used to listen to this podcast. Ever since Broaddus went over to Cowboys Break however, I will not listen to it. Come here only if you want to hear Mickey Spagnola and Nate Newton kiss up to their bosses (Cowboys ownership) and blindly follow their team off a cliff. Not worth anybody's time.Read full review »
