Learning is good for you and for them, let them talk about TJs
I wrote this on their Facebook page but it case it help anyone else for the further learn: It is hard to hear a podcast that I admire get certain important things very wrong, e.g. when one of the hosts suggests that switching from a cart to a basket is somehow a sign of "leveling up." Such a person cannot yet comprehend the physics of gliding gracefully through the store while one's cart is also gliding gracefully through the store, not necessarily at the same pace or in the same aisle. When one has achieved a certain level of fluency in commercial physics, one's cart becomes a partner in the shopping process, not a vehicle or a tool. You tell your partner - or cartner, if you will - "See what's new in frozen novelties, I'll meet you there after I say hi to the tortillas." You guys probably are 4's, but what you don't realize is the scale goes to at least 9 and maybe higher. Keep working and learning though, your lives will improve. It saddens me a bit to picture a well-meaning podcast host strutting in with 3-4 bags and grabbing a sad little basket, imagining he is going to dance down the aisles unencumbered. One gallon of milk and one pygmy watermelon later, and your basket-shoulder is pulled halfway out of its socket by the weight, and mothers are yanking their children out of the way to prevent you from basketing them in the ankles while you lurch down the aisle groaning in agony. But God Bless you and if you keep trying, you will keep learning, and I will keep listening and remain a loyal fan.Read full review »

This duo touches upon and delves into an essential part of the human experience that is too oft overlooked. Tone is non-judgmental, open-minded. This makes my commute to work the most delightful part of the day sometimes.

This podcast is hilarious! I found myself laughing hard enough to burn some calories. It’s as if Mark and Steve are in the aisles with me. We’re refilling our paper cups with coffee, browsing the Columbus meats and tapping on watermelons side by side. The best podcast since Serial!
